Nails, Nails, Nails

I counted up all of my polish and was pretty shocked by the number… 298!! Last time I counted I had around 100. I’m pretty disgusted with myself… ahahah. I also noticed that I have a RIDICULOUS amount of Essie. I’m not even that fond of the brand!

How many polishes do you have?

L’Oreal - Penthouse Pink. 3 coats with a top coat.

I was recently at Walmart and they had a huge display of the new L’Oreal polishes (which is weird because my Walmart hasn’t seemed to restock their polishes in months…) so I picked up three, this pink being one of them. The application on this color was tricky. The polish was nice and thick, but it was SO streaky. I had to do three coats to even it out, and the third coat had to be nice and thick. Dry time was wonderful on it though. It took me a little over 20 minutes to do three coats and my fast dry top coat, then within 5 minutes I was completely dry. The color isn’t too original. It’s a pale, bubblegum pink with purple tones in it. It’s a creme so no shimmer is in it. I think the color is pretty but I feel like it looks SO chalky on my hands. It reminds me a lot of Essie - French Affair (picture below. poopy picture but the only one I have with the polish ahaha)

I also am in LOVE with the bottles for these polishes.

I have no idea why but I think they are just perfect. The brush on the polish is also very nice. It’s nice a thick. However, I constantly felt like I wasn’t able to get enough polish on the brush to coat the nail properly, which was weird because the brush was thick! I don’t understand why I was having such trouble.

Overall I would give the polish a 6 out of 10. You can get it at Walmart for $3.97.
